In the Premier Cup Group A any two from four can still qualify for the semi-finals after today’s results with two games to play. Falcons FC went to Greenhill YC and won 3-2 with goals from Joe Moxom (2) and Kieron Baldock, Nathan Tomlinson and Jack Boobyer replying for Greenhill. Mountsorrel Amateurs came away from Sporting Markfield with a point after a 3-3 draw, Sam Squire, Ollie Freckingham and Liam Kinch for the Ammies, Chris Brown, Niall Smith and Ian Allen for Markfield. In Group B Rothley Imperial booked themselves into the semi finals with a 6-1 win at home to Kegworth Imperial, Anthony Wood (3), Scott Telfer (2) and Leon Cole for Rothley, Dexter Manley replying for Kegworth. Belton Villa beat Sutton Bonington 3-1, Monirul Islam (2) and Greg Fletcher for Belton, Joe Fitzsimmons for Sutton.
Chairmans Trophy Group A Greenhill YC Reserves won 3-0 away at FC Coalville, James Barkby, Lewis Mead and Ryan Thornley with the Greenhill goals. Market Bosworth beat Measham Welfare 4-3 after being 3-0 down with twenty minutes remaining, Ben Gascoigne (2), James Hurst and Matthew Levens for Bosworth, Corrie Caswell (2) and Dan Sherratt for Measham. In Group B Asfordby Development won 3-0 away at CK Dons, Leon Watson, Duncan Simpson and Luke Howitt with the Asfordby goals. Wymeswold FC Reserves beat Bottesford FC 2-1 scoring two in the last ten minutes, Joe Brett and Linford Harris for Wymeswold, Owen Park for Bottesford. In Group C goals from Dan Hogg (3), Nathan Ball (2), Tom Hardy and an own goal gave East Leake Robins a 7-0 win away at Greenhill YC ‘A’. Sileby Victoria beat Woodhouse Imperial 4-3, Jake Rimington (2), Shane Reynolds and Simon Harper for Sileby, Jason Ford (2) and Ash Murray for Woodhouse. In Group D FC Polonia beat Loughborough Emmanuel 5-1, Pawel Chalubinski (4) and Hubert Puzio for Polonia, Danny Clark for Emmanuel. Loughborough United beat Shepshed Amateurs Reserves 2-1, Sam kibble and Leon Pennant for Loughborough, George Thomas for Shepshed.
Top scorers in the Windmill Trophies Division Three today were Measham Welfare Reserves who beat Market Bosworth Reserves 9-2, Reece Daniel and Jay Pallet each got four with Tom Gutteridge making up the nine for Measham, Danny Richards and Josh Burbank replying for Bosworth. Leaders Sporting Markfield reserves won 3-0 away at Woodhouse Imperial Reserves, Kieran Harding, Connor McGahan and Callum Rousseau with the Markfield goals. Quorn Rangers beat Birstall old Boys 6-1, Gary Warren (4), Kieran Newbold and Reece Townend for Quorn, Russ Downing for Birstall.
